Happy Memorial Day!

The family and I are continuing our annual tradition of going away over Memorial Weekend.  The first year we did a farm stay at a Celery Farm in Lancaster PA.  I never would have thought growing celery too so much effort.

Last year we went to the KOA Campground in Gettysburg.  We rented a little Kabin that had AC, a tv, and mini fridge.  I know it's not exactly roughing it, but we save money by not having to board the dogs.  The Gettysburg KOA is awesomely family and pet friendly!  They have tons of activities for kids from magicians and a balloon guy, to tie dye t shirts and ice cream socials.  They also have a mini golf course, a huge playground, and a heated pool!  Last year it was crazy hot, this year it's crazy cold!  Nonetheless, we're having a great time relaxing and spending some well deserved family time together.

Unfortunately our oldest dog has a stomach issue and we weren't able to go to a scheduled cookout with some college friends.  We were rudely awakened from our food comas by the sounds of explosive diarrhea on the cabin floor.  Not what I want to do on my time off, but we love that old dog!  I'm going to take her to the vet tomorrow and see if they can shed any light on her issue, fingers crossed!

Exhaustion aka 2 Markets at once!

I'm am seriously beat!  Between work, setting up my Barn space and prepping then setting up my space for the Lucketts Spring Market, I've been sleeping maybe 4-5 hours a night!  I can't wait until next month when we will be relaxing in Belgium!

Be sure to stop by The Stylish Patina Barn Sale this weekend (4051 Stanford Ct. Frederick MD).  I've got some awesome stuff ready to go!

I'll be selling personally @ The Lucketts Spring Market in Lucketts VA.  This is my first "big" sale outside of the Barn, so I'm a bit nervous about not having enough stuff for everyone, or pricing too low, or too high, or running out of change, or a dead cell phone battery, or Claritin...

Here's a link to their blog post about what to expect when coming to the Spring Market.
